‘The Impermanence of States’ project relates directly to the history of the ongoing disruptions and tragedy around the subject of suicide (or other) ‘car bombs’. The project addresses a regular feature of the local political scene that is specifically located in Beirut and its suburbs, and questions the enigma that seems to float around it.
