Color Conversations

Some of my abstract works explore relationships across color, space, weight and line. I have for long been interested in people’s perceptions and interpretations of color. In 2016, I started a project that involved talking with other local artists, gallerists, curators, designers and pizza delivery staff…, about life, magic and specifically color. I saw that the subject of color in its complexity meant to some an intense daily pursuit of happiness, to others a dream in black and white, or the pure use of it as a formal element. The resulting painted drawings represented an expansion of the mentioned above conversations, even though they both took shape and existed separate of each other.
